3 Ways I Changed My Fitness Routine After Age 50

We all get older.  It is just the way life works and many of the things that we took for granted at 25 are different at 55. I changed three aspects of my fitness routine after the age of 50 to make sure I did not take anything for granted and to help me reach some specific running goals. In this Real Health video post, I outline what changes I made to

  • My training schedule
  • The support I requested from my family; and
  • My mindset

I have not given in to the notion that just because I am getting older that I have to sit on the couch and become a spectator in life. I will not be someone who will grow old gracefully, in fact I am fighting it tooth and nail, and plan to do be an active participant in life, just like many of you have decided.

In the comments section, after watching this two minute video, let me know how you have changed your fitness habits over the years. And feel free to pose some tough questions. I want my experience to help inform the decisions you make. That way, you can look back at 50 or 55 and say "I am just as happy as I was at 25."
